Korean judo players grabbed four gold medals at the Damascus International Judo Tournament on Thursday, as the two-day competition kicked off in the Syrian capital.

Kwon Young-woo won the gold in the men’s 81 kilogram division, while Kim Sung-bum took the top spot in the men’s open category.

Two Korean women were among the winners, with Chung Ji-sun and Kim Mi-hwa taking top honors in the women's 48-kilogram and 57-kilogram categories, respectively.
