N. Korean IOC Member to Visit Seoul

The head of North Korea's International Taekwondo Federation will visit the South next month to meet his South Korean counterpart and discuss integrating the taekwondo organizations of the two Koreas.

North Korean sports official Chang Ung, who also sits on his country's International Olympic Committee, will be accompanied by Chairman Hwang Bong-yong of the North’s Taekwondo Committee and a 30-member taekwondo team.

Chang last visited the South in 2003 to take part in the Daegu Universiad.

The North Korean taekwondo team will perform in Chuncheon on April seventh and in Seoul on the eighth. It is the team's second visit to the South since October 2002.
