S. Korea Grabs 7 Golds at World Short Track Championships

South Korea won a total of six gold medals on the last day at the World Short Track Speed Skating Championships held in Milan, Italy.

Ahn Hyun-soo grabbed the gold in the men’s one-thousand and three-thousand meter short track speed skating competitions, taking home the most gold medals in the men's events for the fifth time in a row.

Song Kyung-taek added a third gold by winning the men’s three-thousand meter race.

Meanwhile, Jin Sun-yu clinched the gold in the women’s one-thousand and three-thousand meters short track speed skating super final and in the women’s three-thousand meter relay race.

When the competition drew to close on Sunday, South Korean skaters had won gold medals in seven out of the ten main events at the international speed skating event.
