The late Korean billiards champion Lee Sang-chun will be remembered at the American Billiards Association's Hall of Honor.
Lee, who died in 2004, was one of the greats of the game in both Korea and the United States.
The association has named him this year's player of honor and will hold a ceremony for him in Las Vegas in May.
He won the U.S. National Championship for 12 years in a row from 1990 to 2001 after moving to the U.S. in 1987.
Lee also conquered the Korean billiards world by winning the Korean National Championship for ten straight years from 1978. He served as chairman of the Korean Billiards Federation in 2004.
An annual international billiards tournament named after him opened in New York last year.
