Officials from the International Association of Athletics Federations have praised Daegu World Cup Stadium, saying the facility is flawless in its technical aspects.
An inspection team from the association completed Saturday on-site inspections of Daegu's infrastructure and ability to host the 2011 World Championship in Athletics.
Team leader Helmut Digel told a news conference that they appreciate the strong support of Daegu residents, saying he will verbally tell of the city's zeal to the association's president Lamine Diack and put it in an official report.
Before the news conference, the inspectors were briefed about Daegu's planned support for the event, including administration, logistics, lodging, broadcasting, security and doping.
They said they found no faults in Daegu's preparation.
The delegation left Korea Sunday.
