South Korea is likely to become an exporter of technologies for nuclear power generation.

The Science and Technology Ministry unveiled a plan for a task force to bolster the exports in the nuclear energy field this month.

The 20-member task force will comprise officials from the ministry and the Korea International Trade Association, as well as civilian experts.

The group will actively support firms' exports of nuclear energy-related technology with in-depth analysis on the outlook for overseas sales.
