Korean short track skaters have nearly swept the 15-hundred-meter events at the Winter Universiade in Turin, Italy.

In the men’s 15-hundred-meter final, Seong Shi-baek won the gold, with fellow teammates Cho Nam-kyu and Lee Seung-hoon grabbing the silver and bronze.

In the women’s 15-hundred-meter, Kim Hye-kyung took the gold and Cho Hae-ri the silver.

Korea is third in the overall medal standings, with its four golds, eight silvers and six bronzes placing it behind Russia and Italy.
