Lee Kyou-hyuk has won the ISU World Sprint Speed Skating Championships in Hamar, Norway.

Lee finished first in the overall standings at Sunday’s event with the highest overall score of 138-point-775 after coming in second in the second round of the men’s one-thousand meter final. Right behind him in the overall standings was Finland's Pekka Koskela, who fell short by just sixty-five-hundredths of a point.

In the finals, speed skaters are recorded twice each on five-hundred-meter and one-thousand- meter tracks.
