Up-and-coming female short track skater Yang Shin-young has won four gold medals at the World Junior Short Track Championship in the Czech Republic.

Yang won the women's thousand-meter final early Monday with a score of one-minute-32 seconds.

She also topped the 15-hundred-meter super final and the two-thousand-meter relay for a total of four gold medals.

In the men's event, Lee Jeong-soo also clinched three golds to give South Korea nine wins out of the ten golds up for grabs in the championship.
