The nation will host the first East Asian science and technology ministers meeting with Japan and China on Thursday.

Minister of Science and Technology Kim Woo-sik will attend the trilatleral meeting with Japan's Bunmei Ibuki and China's Xu Guanhua.

They will discuss ways to resolve various regional science and technology issues while seeking ways to cooperate productively with each other.
