Korean researchers say they have developed a technology that quickens the regeneration of damaged bone.

A team at the Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology led by Drs. Kim Gyeong-ja and Lee Sang-cheon say they have developed a material that boosts bone regeneration as well as the technology to create such regenerated tissue.

The study has been published in the online December edition of the British Royal Society's Journal of Materials Chemistry and will adorn the cover of the print journal to be released Sunday.
