The Commerce, Industry and Energy Ministry has recognized ten domestic technology products that have reached the top level in their respective areas.

The ministry on Wednesday released a list of ten innovative products in the sectors of electronics, machinery, materials, and information technology.

The items that made the ministry’s electronics list are the LG Electronics steam drum washer, LG Philips LCD's one-hundred-inch TFT-LCD or thin film transistor-liquid crystal display, and Phicom’s semiconductor test devices.

In the machinery sector, Hyundai Automotive Group's large-sized engines and Samsung Heavy Industries' cargo ships for the polar regions have been recognized as well.

In the IT sector, Samsung Electronics’ wireless broadband WiBro and the Korea Combat Training Center's operation system developed by Ssangyong Information and Communications also made the list.
