The Korea Handball Federation seeks the intervention of the International Handball Federation following what it claims were biased judgments by Middle Eastern referees at the Asian Games in Doha.

The Korean organization said it will soon report what it called unfair decisions and submit video recordings of the games to the international federation. It is considering calling on the international body to punish the umpires in question and to take measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.

The KHF will ask the international body to assign referees to preliminary matches between Asian countries for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The Asian Handball Federation is in charge of assigning judges for games in the region.
