The national athletic team has returned home from the 15th Asian Games in Doha, Qatar.

Korea achieved its goal of finishing second in the gold medal standings for the third consecutive time in the competition, with 58 gold, 53 silver and 82 bronze.

Upon arriving at Incheon International Airport Sunday, delegation head Jeong Hyun-sook and Korean Olympic Committee Chairman Kim Jung-gil held a news conference along with swimmer and Asian Games' Most Valuable Player Park Tae-hwan.

Chairman Kim also expressed condolences for the bereaved family of equestrian rider Kim Hyung-chil, who was killed during competition.
