In the men's 470-class sailboat race, Kim Dae-young and Jung Sung-ahn took the country's third straight Asian Games title with 20 penalty points over Singapore.
Six silver medals were won in men’s and women’s team fencing, wrestling, cycling and boxing.
Meanwhile, the men’s volleyball team will try to grab the gold for the second straight time after beating Qatar 3-1 to advance to the finals.
South Korea ranks second to China in the medal tally, with a total of 51 gold medals.
