Korea Clinches Gold in Women's Team Archery at Asiad

Korean archers clinched another gold medal at the Asian Games in Doha on Wednesday.

The archery team beat the Chinese 215-209 to top the field in the women's team event, moving closer to a clean sweep of all four golds at stake in the sport.

It wasn't all smooth sailing, however, as the Chinese team came within four points at one point in the third round.

But in the end, the Korean team solidified its seven-point lead with just three shots left.

With the victory, Korea continues its dominance of archery team events for three straight Asian Games since 1988.

The nation has also won six championships in eight women’s events at the Asiad.
