The International Organization for Standardization has adopted domestic information security technologies as global standards.

Korea's Agency for Technology and Standards, an affiliate of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, said Wednesday that the ISO approved four domestic digital signature-related technologies as global standards at a recent conference in South Africa.

The adopted techniques which guarantee the safe use of electronic documents used in e-government, the public and financial sectors and e-commerce are expected to provide domestic firms with greater opportunity to advance into the global information security market.
