S. Korea Grabs Two More Gold Medals in Doha

South Korea won two more gold medals Sunday at the 15th Asian Games in Doha, Qatar.

Park Tae-hwan grabbed the gold in the men’s two-hundred-meter freestyle competition with a time of one minute, 47-point-12 seconds a new Asian Games record.

The second gold of the day came from Hwang Hee-tae in the men's 90-kilogram judo event.

Also on Sunday, the women’s soft tennis team beat Japan two-to-one to finish in first place. Soft tennis, quite similar to regular tennis, is played primarily in Asia, especially in Japan and Taiwan.

Five silver medals were also added by Gong Ja-young in the women’s 63-kilogram judo event, Bae Eun-hae in the 70-kilogram judo class, the men’s ten-meter air pistol event and men’s 50-meter air rifle event.

South Korea's medal tally in the games so far is four gold, seven silver and 14 bronze.
