The National Olympic Committee has accepted a proposal by its North Korean counterpart for the two countries to march together in ceremonies at the 15th Doha Asian Games on Friday.

In a telegram sent Monday, the committee also accepted the North's proposal to discuss fielding a unified team for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Committee members of the two Koreas will meet in Doha, Qatar, on Tuesday to discuss details of the joint march at the games' opening and closing ceremonies.
