The national soccer team has dropped three notches to 51st in this month's rankings by the world soccer governing body FIFA.

The rankings have been calculated using a new method since the end of last July's World Cup in Germany.

Among national teams in the Asian Football Confederation, Iran ranked the highest at 38th. North Korea was a hundred-tenth.

Brazil, Italy, Argentina, France and Britain rounded out the top five.
