The Korean Olympic Committee will hold a sendoff Wednesday for the national team as it heads to Doha for the 15th Asian Games in December.

KOC Chairman Kim Jung-gil, Prime Minister Han Myeong-sook and Vice Culture Minister Park Yang-woo will attend the ceremony to encourage some five-hundred athletes who will leave for Qatar on November 28th.

The nation’s seven-hundred-50-member squad will compete in 37 events. They aim to capture more than 70 gold medals and finish at least second in the standings.
