Athletes and officials on Friday pledged strong performances at the Far East and South Pacific Games for the Disabled to be held November 25th to December first in Kuala Lumpur.

The two-hundred-57-member squad will compete in 18 events in the Malaysian city, aiming to capture more than 40 gold medals and finish at least third place in the standings.

A total of 47 countries will participate in the Games which feature 19 sports.
