North Korea will send a 250-member delegation to the 15th Doha Asian Games set to open in December.

A North Korean official on Thursday told China’s Xinhua News Agency that 180 athletes will compete in 18 events and that North had set a goal of 50 medals including ten golds to surpass its showing in the previous competition.

The North ranked ninth in the 14th Busan Asian Games in 2002 with nine gold medals, 11 silver and 13 bronze.
