Korean Soccer Team Wins AFC Champions League

Jeonbuk Motors has become the first Korean team to win the Asian Football Club Champions League.

Jeonbuk got off to a good start, beating Syria's Al Karama two-to-nothing in the first leg of the final at home last week. Although they lost two-to-one in game two, the last-minute goal by Jeonbuk's Brazilian forward Ze Carlo at Syria's home field put Jeonbuk ahead for the round.

Jeonbuk took the title pver Syria on points, three-to-two.

The South Korean team will represent Asia in December’s FIFA Club World Cup Championship in Japan where they will face Mexico's Club America.

If they beat Club America, they will meet FC Barcelona in the final four.
