Both South and North Korea have earned tickets to the semifinals for the Asia Football Confederation's Youth Championship.

South Korea's team beat powerhouse Australia two-to-one at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, India, on Monday. Midfielder Song Jin-hyung keyed the victory with two goals.

Meanwhile, North Korea’s team defeated Iraq two-to-zero.

The South will meet Japan at the same stadium on Thursday while the North plays against Jordan.
