A British daily reports that the Manchester United soccer team of the English Premier League will visit Korea and three other Asian countries next summer on a pre-season tour.

The People said that the team will hold friendly matches with South Korea, China, Japan and Malaysia. The game schedule and other details are still under discussion.

Next summer's tour targets 40 million Manchester United fans in Asia. Last year, the team visited Hong Kong, China and Japan for friendly matches as well.

South Korea has become a strategic market for the British team since recruiting South Korean midfielder Park Ji-sung last season.
