Gangwon Provincial Governor Kim Jin-sun says he will promote Pyeongchang's bid to host the 2014 Winter Olympics in meetings with the international sports community.

Before leaving for Cuba to attend the World Sport For All Congress from Tuesday to Friday, Kim told reporters that he would tout Pyeongchang’s athlete-centered and sports-centered facilities and environment.

He added that he would underscore the city’s vision to spread winter sports throughout Asia, along with its efforts to realize the Olympic spirit of promoting peace and stability.
