A domestic research team has developed a core technology to mass-produce nanoelements using particles as tiny as one hundred-thousandth the width of a human hair.
Seoul National University’s College of Engineering said that a team led by mechanical and aerospace engineering professor Choi Man-soo has developed a technology to mass-produce nanoelements by arranging electrified nanoparticles as they want.
The new technology is expected to boost development of bio chips, which are used in diagnosing disease.
The technology was introduced in the online edition of the journal “Nature Nanotechnology,” a sister publication of the science magazine Nature.
