Korea’s national under-23 soccer team, which will participate in December's Asian Games to be held in Doha, Qatar, plan to practice in a Middle Eastern country after their match against Iran in the 2007 Asian Cup qualifier.

A national team official said Wednesday that coach Pim Verbeek proposed to the Korea Football Association's technical committee that the team stay in the region between matches.

He added the technical committee is “positively” considering the offer, adding that the team would likely go to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
