Slugger Lee Seung-yeop of Japan's Yomiuri Giants has been named the team's best foreign batter after Warren Cromartie.

In an interview with the Japanese daily Sports Hochi, Yomiuri Giants owner Takuo Takihana said the two players are the team's most successful foreign batters.

Among foreign pitchers, Takihana chose Balvino Galvez.

Lee could leave Japan at the end of the season, but the owner's praise of the Korean clean-up hitter could signal Yomiuri's intent to keep him.
