The nation's youth baseball team has advanced to the final round of the 22nd world junior baseball championship.

Team Korea crushed South Africa nine to zero on Friday in Santa Clara, Cuba, thanks to two homers by Lee Doo-hwan.

With two wins and two losses, the team will face the Netherlands Saturday in its last preliminary match. The Netherlands has won four times and lost once.

Also in the same group with Korea are Cuba, with three wins, Australia with two wins and a loss, and South Africa with four losses.
