Korean slugger Lee Seung-yeop of Japan’s Yomiuri Giants has hit his 40th home run this year.

The two-run homer came Monday against the Hiroshima Toyo Carp. It was his first in eleven days.

Lee is soon expected to become the first Giants player in four years to reach one hundred runs-batted-in.
