Korean Slugger Candidate for U.S.-Japan All-Star Games

Lee Seung-yeop, a Korean slugger playing for Japan’s Yomiuri Giants, has been selected as a candidates to play in the U.S.-Japan All-Star Games in early November.

The first baseman was on the list of 77 candidates posted to the Web site of Nippon Professional Baseball, the governing body for Japanese pro baseball.

Finalists will be decided by a fan vote to be held from September 20th to October 3rd.
