Iran’s national soccer team arrived in Seoul early on Wednesday for an Asian Cup qualifier against South Korea on Saturday.

The Iranian squad has many players from European leagues such as Bayern Munich’s midfielder Ali Karimi and star striker Vahid Hashemian.

Upon arriving at Incheon International Airport, the coach of the team told reporters that he intends to defeat South Korea to take the top spot in Group B, although both of the top two teams can advance into the next round.

Iran secured one win and one draw so far, trailing South Korea with two wins.
