Nation's FIFA Ranking Go Up 4 Steps

The nation’s soccer ranking has climbed up four steps from last month.

The international football organization, or FIFA, ranked South Korea at 52nd place.

Australia came in 37th place, highest in the Asian region, followed by Iran at 45th place and Japan at 48th.

Among Asian nations, the nation ranked fourth.

Taiwan, who will play against the national team in the 2007 Asian Cup qualifiers on Wednesday, came in 144th while North Korea ranked at 86th.

FIFA top 15 ranking places remain the same from the previous month with Brazil at the top followed by Italy.
