The national soccer team under coach Pim Verbeek will set out for the 2007 Asian Cup qualifiers in Taiwan.

The team will leave for Taipei Monday and play against host Taiwan in Wednesday’s Group B qualifying match.

Other Group B teams are Iran and Syria. The soccer team Taekgeuk Warriors under former coach Dick Advocaat had beaten the Syrian team 2-1 in the first Asian Cup qualifier in February.
