The nation’s largest science festival will open next week for a five-day run in Ilsan northwest of Seoul.

This year will mark the tenth anniversary of the event organized by the Korea Science Foundation and the Ministry of Science and Technology. The event is scheduled to run from next Thursday to August 15.

The two organizers announced Wednesday that the festival will provide an opportunity to look back on the nation’s scientific and technological developments of the past decade.

This year’s event will include a large number of “hands-on” exhibitions, including a robot hall to celebrate the 30th birthday of Robot Taekwon V, a character from the popular animated series of the same name.
