New national football coach Pim Verbeek has announced a list of 36 players that will play against Taiwan in the 2007 Asian Cup qualifier.

According to the list disclosed at the Korea Football Association Friday, 31 of the players are currently in local leagues, three in Japan leagues and two in Russian leagues.

What is most noteworthy of Verbeek’s choice is that 25 of the 36 players are under the age of 25.

Verbeek said a final group of 28 are scheduled to report to the team at the Paju National Training Center. Of the final group, 20 players will play in the preliminary match against Taiwan.
