The science and technology ministers of South Korea, China and Japan will meet in Seoul within the year to discuss cooperation in research and development.

The Science and Technology Ministry in Seoul says Minister Kim Woo-sik agreed to the three-nation minsterial meeting in talks with his Japanese counterpart in Tokyo Wednesday.

A ministry official says a trilateral cooperation network will play a big role in supporting sustainable economic growth in Northeast Asia.
