The PyeonChang committee in charge of bidding for the 2014 Winter Olympics has unveiled its official campaign emblem and slogan.

The committee on Thursday said the slogan “New Dreams(at)PyeongChang” means new dreams lie in PyeongChang and the emblem signifies a combination of symbols and images of the Gangwon Province county.

The committee plans to hold a meeting Friday and Saturday to discuss strategies to host the sports event.

Last month, the county was officially selected as one of the final three candidates in the contest to host the 2014 Winter Olympics.
