Japan’s professional baseball organization is seeking championship games with South Korean teams, including the national team next year.
The Japanese sports daily, SportsHochi, reported Monday that the organization was planning to discuss the Korea-Japan Series with its South Korean counterpart, the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO).
Meanwhile, KBO’s Deputy Secretary General Lee Sang-il said that the two sides are considering holding the match in fall 2007.
