Pitcher Seo J.W. Traded to Tampa Bay

The Los Angeles Dodgers have traded pitcher Seo Jae-weong to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

The team on Tuesday sent Seo, catcher Dioner Navarro and a player to be named later to Tampa Bay in return for pitcher Mark Hendrickson, catcher Toby Hall and a million dollars.

Seo is expected to make his first start as a Devil Ray Sunday at Washington.

This season, he went 2-4 with an earned-run average of 5.78 in 19 appearances, including ten starts. He was traded by the New York Mets to Los Angeles in the off-season.

In 90 career appearances, including 76 starts, he is 24-28 with an ERA of 4.13.
