Dutch media have reported on the appointment of Pim Verbeek as the head coach of South Korea's national soccer team.

One Dutch daily on Tuesday wrote that Verbeek has become the fourth Dutchman after Guus Hiddink, Jo Bonfrere and Dick Advocaat to head the South Korean team.

In an interview with soccer magazine “Football International,” Verbeek said he was happy to take the helm of the South Korean team, as he knows well what the team wants.

Verbeek also pledged all-out efforts to contribute to the development of Korean soccer.
