Ethnic Korean women golfers have earned some five-point-eight million dollars in prize money on LPGA tournaments in this year's first half.

Jang Jeong's Wegmans LPGA win on Sunday was the eighth victory by an ethnic Korean golfer in this season's 15 tournaments. Five ethnic Koreans are also on the top ten LPGA money list.

According to the official money list released by the LPGA for the year's first half, Kim Mi-hyun ranked third, Han Hee-won fourth, Lee Seon-hwa fifth, Jang Jeong seventh and Lee Mee-na tenth, while the combined earnings of the 25 ethnic Koreans who made it on the list totaled some five-point-eight million dollars.

Jang's win set another record, being the fourth straight LPGA tournament win by an ethnic Korean, a streak dating back to Han Hee-won’s Corning Classic victory late last month.
