The official Web site of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany has written a positive review of the performance of the South Korean soccer team.

An article titled “Koreans find cause for optimism” said Monday that the team’s track record show how far they have come in a short period of time. It went on to say that, in the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, the team may very well rewrite the history of Korean soccer.

It called Lee Chun-soo, Ahn Jung-hwan and Park Ji-sung, the “Three Musketeers,” praising their outstanding performances.

The article pointed out that, in the next four years, the South Korean team should address its shortcomings in front of the goal and resolve its defensive problems.
