S. Korea, Swiss Confident of Friday's Game

Ahead of their crucial World Cup soccer Group G game Friday, South Korea and Switzerland have both expressed confidence of their chances of winning.

South Korea goalie and captain Lee Woon-jae said Wednesday that the Swiss are very strong but that his team also has many strengths, adding South Korea's experience and achievements in the 2002 World Cup should help produce a victory.

Swiss striker Alexander Frei, meanwhile, who scored in the 2-0 win against Togo, told a news conference that South Korea is strong but that his team will thoroughly prepare for the game.

He said a win is also important to avoid Spain in the second round.

The winner will claim the Group G title, but the loser could still advance if France loses or ties Togo Friday.
