A poll conducted by American broadcast network NBC says South Korea is likely to win Group G of the World Cup soccer finals in Germany.

Of more than 800 people who voted in the poll, 55 percent selected South Korea to finish first in the group, followed by 37 percent who picked France and 7.9 percent who chose Switzerland.

South Korea must beat Switzerland in Friday's game in Hanover to win the group and guarantee a spot in the second round.

France can advance at the expense of either of the two teams by beating Togo Friday by at least two goals.
