The national soccer team has begun preparations for its final World Cup Group G match against Switzerland on Friday.

The 23-member team on Tuesday held its first practice following its 1-1 draw with France on Sunday.

Coach Dick Advocaat and his top assistant Pim Verbeek watched Switzerland secure a 2-0 win against Togo in Dortmund Monday.

South Korean players also watched the game on TV to devise tactics against the European team.

The Korean squad will practice in the evening to prepare for the critical game that will determine whether they advance into the second round.
