Slugger Lee Seung-yeop has hit his 22nd homer of the season in Japanese pro baseball.

At the Tokyo Dome Friday, Lee hit a solo homer in the bottom of the ninth inning but his team Yomiuri Giants lost to the visiting Rakuten Eagles, 7-3.

He has three straight games with a homer and nine this month after hitting eight in May.

Lee leads the Japanese leagues in homers, with Murata Shoichi of the Yokohama Bay Stars second with 20.
