Forbes magazine has ranked golf prodigy Michelle Wie 74th on its Celebrity 100 list of actors, athletes and entertainers.

The survey measured a person's earnings and activities and media attention between June last year and May this year.

Wie is the youngest person on the list, with Forbes estimating her pay over the 12-month period at 17 million dollars.

Actor Tom Cruise topped this year's list, followed by the British rock band Rolling Stones, talk show queen Oprah Winfrey and the Irish group U2.

Number five was golf phenom Tiger Woods but led all others in earnings, while filmmaker Steven Spielberg was sixth.
